Windows 11 Migration

THE CLIENT

Datacom

THE CHALLENGE

Datacom partnered with Microsoft to support organisations across Australia and New Zealand in transitioning from Windows 10 to Windows 11 before support officially ended. Although the deadline was well publicised, many businesses delayed action, increasing exposure to security and operational risk.

The campaign ran over a long period, right up until Windows 10 was officially no longer supported by Microsoft. This required a visual approach that could maintain momentum over time. Creative assets needed to stay consistent across channels while being regularly updated to remain relevant and avoid audience fatigue.

THE SOLUTION

A flexible visual system was developed to support a wide range of deliverables and allow for ongoing updates throughout the campaign lifecycle. Deliverables included ebooks, DV360 ads, Performance Max ads, content syndication through ITNews, and high-impact out-of-home placements at Sydney Airport aimed at reaching senior decision makers.

As the campaign progressed, messaging and visual assets were continuously refreshed to reflect the increasing urgency of the Windows 10 end-of-support deadline. This ensured the campaign remained current and engaging across all touchpoints, while consistently reinforcing Datacom’s role as a trusted Microsoft Windows 11 partner.
